Song: Orenji no Taiyou
Song: Gackt & HYDE

Finished watching Moon Child (moive), starring HYDE, Gackt and Wang Leehom on youtube. Not to be biased (HYDE and Gackt goodness *drools*) but I think the movie is GOOD. 4.5/ 5. However, i gotta admit there are craps throughout the movie but hey, these are GOOD CRAPS, ok? And the movie was sooooooo heart wrenching that i cried myself silly at the end. =(

The ending alone is worth the high rating, not to mention the acting skills of the 3 SINGERS, not actors =) And oh yea, did I mentioned Gackt and HYDE speaking some of their lines using Chinese? ^^

In addition to being a singer, Gackt has actually...erm...thrown away his 'cool' image for the character in the early part of the plot. My impression of Gackt is always cool, cold-hearted looking (oops ;P)...you get the idea, but the first part of his character is so totally not cool-looking, always pulling off weird stunts (hahaha...dunno how to describe it but he did some actions that made me laugh my head off), but HYDE retained his cool image though <3>

So anyway, the story takes place in a chaotic city where people usually live for the sake of themselves. Story starts with a young Sho (Gackt) meeting Kei, a vampire (HYDE) in a deserted place and some sort of friendship develops between them. Then later part (when Sho has grown up) when Sho and Kei were staking a hideout of a local mafia (to get $$), they met Son (leehom) and since they are against the same enemy, they joined forces and from there they become friends.

The story plot does not focus more on the vampire side, but on the human side, the developments of Sho and Son's character. Overall, the whole movie is SAD i tell you, with their friends dying off one by one. =(
Anyway, i divided it to 2 parts, one being the 'happy times', with the 4 or 5 (Sho, Kei, Toshi [Sho's childhood friend], Son and his sis) being as a group.
The 'sad times' will be when Son joined the local chinese mafia, Kei getting locked up in prison for murder (lol) etc. So the tension was at the last bit, where Son and Sho were fighting one-to-one at gun-point.
Skipped that part abit cos it was DAMN SAD.

Sho purposely didn't shoot his last bullet and got shot instead. Kei came in at that point of time and the agitated Son provoked Kei into shooting him and died. I almost cried when Kei recounted thier happier times as a group. Obviously, Sho succumbed to his mortal injuries and died, but Kei did a selfish thing, and that is to turn him into a vampire.

At last to the final bit, where all their friends (Son, Toshi, Yi Che [Son's sister and also Sho's wife]) had all left them, and Sho, Kei being a vampire. Kei or Sho had suggested going to the sea (during night) and they sat in the car. Sho pulled out an earlier taken photo with the 5 of them together during happy times. He put it infront of his car and the two of them sat in the car in silence.
They sat till the tiny bit of dawn breaking out, and from there I knew what was going to happen. Hahaha...i felt a bit of tears coming up but i continued watching...the camera then focused to the rising sun and I heard Sho saying:

Sho: Kei, yoake ga mieru yo. (Kei, I can see the dawn breaking)

That sentence plus the music coming was turning point for me. I cant contained it anymore longer. I CREID!!!! The tears wont stop flowing so I let it flowed as I continued watching.
The next scence was in broad daylight, with the five of them excatly together and waiting to take a picture at the seaside.
I believed that was when the five of them are reborn again and they were honouring the promise, cos in the 'happy times' part of the plot, Son had suggested that they come to the beach during the daytime again to take pictures.
Since that wish cannot be fulfilled because Kei was a vampire, but they can do it now because they had all move on to another life and they are all humans again.

Lol, by that time, my eyes were all and puffy but i kept going back to watch the ending! It was a bitter-sweet ending and i LOVE it, although it makes me cry like mad. =.=

Sorry for the long post, gotta take this off my chest before i cry in my pillow tonight again =)
O yea, Orenji no Taiyou was sang in the movie too. They way Gackt and HYDE sang it also almost made my cry.

Yuugure ni kimi to mita
Orenji no taiyou
Nakisouna gao o shite
Eien no sayonara....

(not sure if the lyrics are correct not, typed it as what i think :P)

Song: Idea
by: Wizard

I see obstacles ahead in learning how to play my guitar.
That guitar is actually not mine...it's my mum's. It has been hanging dead in our storeroom eversince my mum got married to my dad and so technically, that guitar is older than me (about 25 years old?) @_@
I knew there was a guitar there long ago and I had plead with my mum to take it down for me some few years back but my mum just wont. Surprisingly, she agreed to it this time.

First problem: Don't exactly understand what the books i had borrowed talk about. Esp the music terms. I have NO whatsoever education in music before and even if i had (probably druing primary school), i would have forgotten all about it. So what they teach relating to reading the guitar music scores...i am as confused as one....erm lost duckling?
Second problem: No idea how each tune is supposed to sound like. CDS do accompany with the books that i had borrowed but the school has soooo brillantly decided to take out the CDS so that they can torment music learners like me.
(I know the real reason why but let me rant out my frustrations @#$#%^)
Third problem: Strings. They are as old as the guitar =.= yea, but this problem is not as big as the previous ones.

Two major problems, no solutions. I have no friends, relatives who plays guitar For my mum's case, she has completely forgotten how to play it.
Taking up a course is not my option for now. If i'm desperate enough, maybe I'll stop my jap lessons (NOO!!!!) or wait till the future where i can earn $$ and take up the course.

So peeps, wish me luck as i go back and study the magic words again so i can make sense of what they are trying to say.

Song: Satsuki
by: Kagrra,

What happens if Isshi (vocal, Kagrra,) changes place with Ruki (vocal, the GazettE) for one of their concerts? O.0
I think the Isshi's graceful image will be broken by gazette's screaming songs. >_<

Song: Deep Blue
By: Vidoll

This week was actually quite a blur for me...The second day of the new year was sort of quite 'dead' cos of the gambling. Those who know me well will know that I don't gamble =) *Hahaha...aren't i an angel? ^_^* Forgot when it started, but i remembered that I did gamble a bit when i was younger, but in this few recent years (about 4 years?) I have stopped gambling. Don't see the point in gambling...some more it's not really a fun thing when you see your money going to the banker.
Anyway, ate a lot on that day. The food was just soooo tempting. The combination of bee hoon and curry is soo good that I can't help myself =)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Seriously, I haven't think of the idea of getting myself an external hard drive/ disk (forgot what it's called ^_^") until I saw someone expressing the same thought at some LiveJournal site. Why? Simply because of the huge amount of space my songs will take up.
In addition to the songs in my laptop now, I am thinking of ripping the rest of my Jap songs from my CDs to my laptop. The cd player (or rather the speakers) in my room has sort of broken down, due to its tireless effort of service in these past 10 ++ years. It actually belonged to my father and he passed it down to us after he bought a new player and so, we are having this player till now. ^_^""
So I thought everything will be easier if i put all my songs to my laptop. In this way , I can listen all my genres in one shot.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I figured it out. Cavin post anime-related stuffs sometimes. For me, I post what-i'm-obessed-with stuffs.
So here goes:

Just realised recently: Cheerful, bright, jumpy, restless boybands/ JRock bands SCARE ME. Correct me if I'm wrong, but Kanjani8 (should be correct spelling), Jpop group under Johnny's Entertainment, is one of them. Never heard of their songs before but once i was flipping the magazines and happened to see their concert. Scanned through the images and got a shocked. It's sort of hard for me to describe but this thought was running through my mind: OMG. Are they performing for 5 years old kid?
It may not be that bad, but it LOOKS that bad.
Muahahahaa....I am REALLY grateful that Tackey & Tsubasa debuted before them =)
Why? The groups that debut earlier like Arashi, Kinki Kids, Smap, V6 and Tokio and Tackey & Tsubasa all have relatively 'cool' image and feel (and i prefer their songs).
So those debut after them are Kanjani8, NewS and KATTUN. Kanjani8 not my type (read above), NewS was forced to cancel all their activites for a year last year because of some under-aged drinking in the group.
When KATTUN debut, all the media was actually having good reviews about them and they were the top earners for JE company. But what happened this year? Something happened to Akanishi Jin (bad rumours) and he wanted out of the group. *sigh* the group should change the name to KTTUN. Seems so weird to have Jin's name in it even though he has left.

An Cafe is an Oshare Kei band (part of JRock except that this genre uses bright cheerful colours for the image as compared to Visual Kei which it has a darker feel) that i recently heard of. Situation is the same as Kanjani8, wasn't feeling anything till i saw thier concet report from Shoxx. SCARE ME man! The image is tooooo cheerful and bright!
The lucky thing is that they have not scare me off totally yet...cos I read good reviews about their music. So, might be trying theirs in the near future =)
Ayabie is also an Oshare Kei band and I got only one song from them. Sounds not so bad...so i think i'm gonna try them out sometime in the near future too. ^^
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Above opinions about Kanjani8, NewS and KATTUN are made by ME, and they are definitely not out to target any of their fans or the singers themselves. If anyone has feel insulted by this post, I sincerely offer my apologies here.
If you still feel insulted, you can go over and leave your point of views, comments etc at my tagboard and LEAVE YOUR NAME behind. Those who didn't, i will assume that they are cowards and THEY DID NOT READ THIS PART OF THE POST.
O yea, for those comments that didnt have any names, I'll just simply treat that as a junk and not reply =)

Song: Ishin
By: Kagrra,

Just after today, I realised how old I've grown. No, not old in terms of 'maturity', but in terms of AGE. So in a matter of few years, I will be hearing all of my cousins' children calling me AUNT. Ok, maybe English didn't bring out the 'feeling' of being old quite accurately, but in chinese, all these terms 'biao yi' or 'biao gu' sound SOOO OLD please! And I must stress that I'm only 17 going to 18 this year =.=
Didn't quite enjoy myself today...went back to my father's side. Can't blame me though, we only meet once a YEAR. It's a year, mind you, not weeks. So for me it's quite awkward today, but they are all nice people =)

So for the second part of visiting relatives tomorrow, I can really look forward to having a good time cos they are all the people I know better...er...well, not exactly GOOD time cos most of them will gamble there. But not to worry! I have plan to bring along my lappy and I'll let it entertain me! ^^

Oops, my hamsters are calling me *squeak squeak*
Gotta go peeps. Bye~

Rushed this skin last night and finally put it up at around 2 am? Hahaha...that's what I'll do when I'm free!!!
Actually wanted to do a Kagrra, blogskin...but the web doesn't actually have a lot of their nice pictures, so I have to scan from my mag...BUT, they didn't turn up well =(
But oh well, I still have my the GazettE, so i decide to feature my favourite member in it: Reita =)

To add on to the joyous occasion, SCHOOL HAS ENDED!!!!!! Well, maybe except for the exams =.=
Hahaha...so for this short period of time, I'll be reverting back to my old style of watching anime and listening to my songs!!!! Aww man...this will be HEAVEN i tell you, after all those weeks of chionging projects and datelines, we can finally take a breather. Good job guys! =)

So I have a new skin for the new year and yup, feeling good about it =)

Song: Chao Ren
By: Dicky Cheung

I heard of gang fights started because of just a stare but never actually witness one. But on monday, while I was printing DTAT stuffs in AS(with WQ, seri, shar, YH and Shellen), we suddenly heard shouts and all the pushing sound behind us and guess what?
Yup, the guy (A) pushed the other guy (B) because B stared at him and he buay song.

I admit it WAS scary at first because the situation was soooooooooo tensed and they almost started fighting in the shop. But somehow they went out and 'settle' behind the doors of the stairs outside those lecture halls.
What is the outcome i dunno, but I can only think of one thing: Stupid people do stupid things.

On a brighter note, i signed up for a free fan mail service of the GazettE =)
And so far i have received two mails from the staff (of course is not they la! SIAO), and yep, the information is all in JAPANESE =.=
Hahaha....ok la, it's not that i can't totally read it, can read and understand some of it la....but as always, it's the MOST IMPORTANT part that I dont understand. So when I see a link, I am soooooooo damn TEMPTED to click on it, but I dont dare in case i'm directed to some weird, scary sites. =)
(ok la, not weird, scary sites, but in case that site needs me to sign up for something...)

Song: Screaming ~Kanzen Ban~
By: 12012

ARGG!!! I NEED MORE SCREAMING TYPE SONGS! =(

The dateline is driving me crazy *ROAR*
Can't listen to my screaming songs now cos sis is here. And she dosen't like these kind of songs.
Dir en grey is too hard for me.
the GazettE is good enough for me.
12012, too, but this song is not the screaming type =(
Kagrra,? Nah, they don't walk along this type of genre. Theirs is traditional + beautiful + Rock + Isshi's unqiue vocals = hard to sing but nice, beautiful, addictive works.
Merry...i only got their one song. It's good (a bit of screaming) but its short =(

So yosh! Go find the GazettE works...should be plenty around since they are quite popular in Japan now =)

Song: Q.
By: Alice Nine

Reason for me being high on some Mondays (esp the Week 16 monday): Found out that Shoxx/ other JRock magazine arriving on Saturaday.

Yup. It's a little irony here. I really wished i'll never pass week 16, but at the same time I hope Saturaday will come quickly =.=
Anyway, today went down to Kinokuniya specially to buy the March issue of Shoxx.
Reason: Kagrra, being featured. 16 coloured page including photoshoots and long interview.
Tell me, how can I not be high? And i thought I had already missed the March issue.

When I reached Kinokuniya, i realised the March issue of R&R Newsmaker is also out. Winkup, Potato, Neo Genesis, Duet are also out. WTH??!! Why the magazines for March are arriving so quickly? Because of Chinese New Year? (Yes, the Japanese DOES know what is Chinese New Year, and in a way, "celebrating" it. They even know this year is the Year of Pig)
Didn't bring enough money with me anyway, so I decided to give up the R&R Newsmaker and Winkup (JPop: Tackey & Tsubasa are not being featured anyway lol).

If celebs are being featured on a magazine, this usually means that there ARE goodies inside. Look what i got when UVERworld got featured on R&R Newsmaker: a 2007 UVERworld calander.
Now is Kagrra,'s turn. First a 16 full coloured pages, then a Kagrra, poster! Hahaha...my $22 was well spent. Not to mention that the magazine also has the Gazette, Alice Nine, LM.C yadda yadda...

ok enough of my crazy rantings. GTG bye.

*ps. Next week is gonna sux BIG TIME =(

Song: Yasashisa no Shizuku
By: UVERworld

Went to Kinokuniya to pick up my magazine Arena37'C. I supposed i went there a week late and there wasn't any left =( *there goes my Kagrra interview*
Saw Neo Genesis but was a freaking $38 ++...thought i was left with nothing and was about to give up when a picture in front of me caught my eye. LOL took a secod look and realised UVERworld was staring right into me ^^
Hahahaha...UVERworld was in R&R NEWSMAKER cover page and so i took that.
In the end it was A GOOD choice after all. Besides UVERworld, there was also L'Arc~en~ciel 15th anniversary concert report and Nishikawa Takanori! The bestest goodie of all =======> A UVERworld 2007 calender!!!!!!

Although there was no Kagrra or The Gazette, the calender was enough to make my day. =)

Went back home to check and realised there WAS KAGRRA interview in Neo Genesis =.=
But oh well, i didn't bring enough money...a hell freakish price of $38 for one magazine =.=
